Renewable energy and localised power generation are gathering more and more steam. A local network of residential batteries teamed with public installations provides a reliable grid to source electricity from. The trick is diversifying the generation base to include methane digesters as well as wind and solar. We are so heavily reliant upon fossil fuel, all of our transport from sea, land and air. It is critical we integrate every possible generation means to alleviate our environmental impact now that the 'anthropocene' has commenced...
