🚒 A Victorian First at Rolling Hills Primary School 🚒

Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting the Prep students at Rolling Hills Primary School to deliver the brand-new Fire Wise Kids program — and we’re proud to say Chirnside Park Fire Brigade was the first brigade in Victoria to deliver it.

The program is all about helping young kids learn simple but important fire safety messages in a fun, engaging way. Judging by the smiles, laughter and all the questions, the Preps absolutely loved it!

Teaching children how to stay safe around fire and what to do in an emergency is a huge part of what we do in the community, and it was fantastic to see the students so involved.

Thanks to the staff and students at Rolling Hills Primary School for having us — we had a great time and look forward to visiting again.

🚒 Strike Team Deployment – Woods Point 🌲🔥

Chirnside Park Tanker is currently deployed to Woods Point as part of Strike Team 1312.

Our crew is undertaking asset protection activities, working alongside other CFA brigades to help safeguard the beautiful township of Woods Point and support the local community during current operations.

We’re proud to assist in protecting homes, infrastructure, and the stunning surrounding environment while conditions remain challenging.

A big thank you to all crews working on the fireground and to our families and employers supporting members while they are away from home.
