V/LINE changes
Due to track works, coaches will be replacing trains up until Tues 5 May on the Albury line. Travel is currently free for April/May and you do not need a ticket. The coach stop is in the carpark at the train station. Revised timetable attached. Call into the PO if you have any queries.

The end of an era.
After 30+ years of faithful service, the Post Office scales will finally be retired.
They have certainly had a workout in the past few years!
We would love to go back to the cool older ones, but unfortunately they aren't certified any more!

Youth Myki
Children under 18 now travel free all the time on all Victorian public transport. If you need a Youth Myki for school bus travel or a trip to Melb etc, our nearest station that sells them is Seymour.
An easier option is to order online and they come via mail.

Choose the myki that best suits your eligibility and travel requirements.

They say it takes a 'village to raise a child', we have discovered it takes a 'village to build a ramp' too! Our ramp project is now finished and I wanted to acknowledge the entire crew that made it happen.

- Matt for relocating plants and removing the fence
- Eric (QuickDraft) for the fantastic plans
- Danieel (Council) for helping with our permit application
- Andrew (Chiltern Bricklaying) for removing the ridiculously heavy steps in one piece and repairing the brickwork
- Tony (Tony Harrison Concreting) for doing such a brilliant job of matching the existing exposed aggregate
- Tom and team (DTD Engineering) for fabricating and installing the handrail
- Tom & Kelsie (Tom's Merchandise) for the new signwriting
- Pete and Marianne for crafting our beautifully worn bluestone steps into seats in the garden
- Nathan at DLG for his meticulous measuring and installing of the new door
- Geoff for rebuilding the fence
- Mark (Classic Arbor) for lifting the old steps into place, pruning the tree and resurfacing the garden

As you can see, I did nothing except come up with the idea and fill out planning paperwork! It was great to be able to use Chiltern tradespeople for the vast majority of the work

We are so pleased with the result. It is fantastic to see our beautiful heritage building (built in 1863) still fit for purpose in the 21st century.
