Teacher Spotlight 🔦🍎

We'd like to introduce Mr Davis our K Gold teacher and Early Stage One Assistant Principal.

Every day, Mr Davis brings his experience, care and enthusiasm to the classroom, creating a space where our youngest learners feel supported to try new things, build confidence and genuinely enjoy their learning. He's a familiar face around the school, whether he's kicking the footy with kids on the playground or out at Kiss and Ride of an afternoon, greeting families as they head home.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our talented students who are competed Zone level of the Public Speaking competition last week! 👏🏆

Reaching this stage is a fantastic achievement and reflects their courage, preparation, confidence and ability to share their ideas with an audience.💙

🌱 Growing Our Character Strengths! 🌱

At Charlestown Public School, we are proud to be growing our minds and strengthening our wellbeing through our Grow Your Mind program.

Each fortnight, our whole school focuses on a particular character strength — exploring what it looks like, sounds like and feels like in our everyday lives. We encourage our students to notice these strengths in themselves and others, and to find opportunities to put them into action.

To celebrate the wonderful ways our students are using their character strengths, we have introduced a new Grow Your Mind Character Strength Award! 🧠💚

Each fortnight, we will recognise:
🏆 One K–2 student
🏆 One Years 3–6 student

These students will be celebrated for demonstrating our focus character strength and showing how they are using their strengths to help themselves and others thrive.

This fortnight, our whole school is focusing on the character strength of Justice.
Justice is about being fair, treating people equally and doing what is right.

Congratulations to our 2 very first Grow Your Mind award winners: Rowan and Farnia! ⭐⭐

We are excited to shine a light on the many ways our students are growing, learning and building their wellbeing each day. 🌱✨
