In Jewish tradition, the New Year offers an opportunity to take stock of the experiences and lessons of the year that has passed, and to consider how we can make a positive contribution in the year ahead. It is a time to renew our commitment to understanding, compassion and mutual respect.

When our community needs us, JCCV is there.

We listen to Jewish Victorians through community meetings, daily phone calls and direct engagement. We collect information, identify emerging issues and take what we hear to government, local councils and other key stakeholders.

From responding to intimidation and harassment to tracking antisemitism and advocating for meaningful change, JCCV works to make sure the experiences of Jewish Victorians are heard.

Because being there for our community means listening, responding and leading.

Understanding doesn't happen by accident.

It takes education, engagement and conversation.

Through initiatives such as Educate10K and the Jewish Immersion Program, JCCV helps workplaces, schools and institutions better understand Jewish identity, experiences and concerns.

And that understanding can create meaningful change.
