Thanks to everyone for your support during this insane experience. To have so many people in my corner is truly humbling 🥰

It was surreal to vote for myself today. While 2022 won't be my year, the best platform for the next election is running this time. I'll keep fighting until we have real leadership in .

Only two days left, team. Stay calm, be nice to one another, and vote for people who want to make the world a better place. Not for them, but for all of us.

NEAL SMITH FOR CLIMATE

We have the knowledge (https://www.ipcc.ch/), the expertise and the global positioning to lead on climate change.

I'm pushing for the following:
- Legislated CO2 emissions limits
- Industry-specific mechanisms to reduce emissions
- Our emissions exports to be considered as our responsibility
- Commitments to facilitating our Pacific neighbours getting to net-zero and boosting climate resilience

All of the tools exist - we just need the political will.

This time tomorrow I'll be an Senate candidate!

Getting on the ballot requires:
- a form proving my eligibility ✅
- A $2000 deposit 💸
- 100 signatures from voters, nominating me as a candidate ✒

Thanks to the 100 that have signed so far - better to have some bonus sigs, though! There's still time to add your signature - like, comment or send me a DM and we'll organise it 🤝

Hey gang! I hope everyone's making the most of today's public holiday - both by recharging the batteries, and reflecting upon Australia's history, the merits of this date of "national celebration", and where we want to head as a nation.

Each snippet resonated with me for a different reason. Here are some questions I'd love to hear your thoughts on:

1) What are your thoughts on leadership v. authority in our current government/parliament?
2) Do you have a vision, or just cause, that you'd like government to drive? Do you know what the government's vision for Australia is?
3) Who in parliament do you think is a true leader? Who clearly wants to lead, and who appears to desire the authority?
