A Total Fire Ban is in place today, Saturday 5th September, for the Greater Sydney Region, where Extreme fire danger is forecast.

Warm, dry and windy conditions are expected across parts of NSW, with High fire danger across much of the northeast.

Know your fire risk and what you will do if fire threatens. Report all unattended fires to Triple Zero (000).

This weekend saw the official opening of our new fire station. A big thankyou to everyone involved in organising the ceremony.

Also a big congratulations to our members who received awards during the ceremony.

Busy day for the Catherine Field crew. Firstly attending a grass fire on Camden valley way, we were then sent to the M4 motorway to assist with a truck fire. Once that was completed and on our way home we were called to a minor vehicle accident.

Last night, members from Catherine Field Brigade took part in a live fire training session at the District Training Centre alongside NSW RFS - Narellan Brigade.

The focus of the evening was developing our village firefighting skills and strengthening our scene management capabilities. These practical training nights provide valuable experience in a controlled environment, allowing our members to build confidence, improve teamwork, and refine the skills.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and to Narellan Rural Fire Brigade for training alongside us.

Early this morning we were called to a car fire on Bringelly road, Bradfield. On arrival we found a car fully involved and that the fire had spread to the scrub in the median strip.

Crews quickly got to work containing the scrub fire, whilst crews in BA began to extinguish the vehicle.

Thankyou to NSW RFS - Casula Brigade and NSW RFS - Narellan Brigade for your assistance. TMC were also in attendance, closing the road and cleaning up the fluids after.
