The current system is broken:
🦷 Over 30% of Victorian adults delay or avoid dental care due to cost.
🦷 Dental conditions are the leading cause of hospitalisation for kids under 10.

Particularly in regional Victoria, getting help can mean a long wait, a long drive and a bill you simply cannot afford.

Your teeth are part of your body. Dental care belongs in healthcare.

Let's make dental free.

I recently met with Bicycle Network CEO Alison McCormack to discuss their vital Gimme 5 campaign. This calls on the Victorian Government to dedicate 5% of the state’s transport budget to building and completing our planned Strategic Cycling Corridors.
Victoria spends billions of dollars every year on massive transport infrastructure projects. Allocating just 5% of that funding to dedicated cycling networks would be a game-changer, giving everyone a real, safe choice in how they travel to school, work, and the local shops.

The Victorian Greens fully support this ask. It is time to invest in active transport, reduce emissions, and make our streets safer for everyone.

✅ Vote Greens for safer cycling infrastructure.

Loved joining Mac-Off and about 250 members of our Mount Alexander community to make our message loud and clear: we are ‘NOT lovin’ it’! ❌

The Greens stand proudly with this campaign. Greens MP Sarah Mansfield has officially sponsored this petition to strengthen local council planning powers, ensuring our community—not massive corporations—decides the future of our local areas.

Let's protect the character of our town and keep local voices at the heart of planning decisions.

Greens are calling on a one year pause on importing smart glasses. While the federal government rejected an immediate import ban, local governments - such as Brisbane City Council and Yarra Council - have begun banning smart glasses in public spaces like swimming pools, gyms, and playgrounds to protect children and privacy. It is time for Mount Alexander Shire and Bendigo Councils to do this too. I have submitted a public question for the next Mount Alexander Shire Council meeting.

The City of Yarra has voted to ban smart glasses from its pools, gyms, playgrounds and childcare centres due to concerns about vulnerable members of the community being covertly filmed.

The municipality is the second council in Australia to implement the ban, after Brisbane City Council last month announced a city-wide ban on smart glasses at its public pools.

I am so incredibly impressed by our local council’s proactive and ambitious plans to tackle the housing crisis. By releasing council land in Castlemaine, Maldon, and Newstead, they are laying the groundwork for a fairer community. 🏡

The local vision is there. The land is ready. The Victorian Government now needs to step up and deliver genuinely affordable housing on these sites.

Let’s get it done! 💚

The cost of living crisis is hitting Victorian households hard, but it doesn't have to be this way.
While big corporations make record profits, everyday Victorians are struggling with rent, groceries, and skyrocketing energy bills. The Greens have a bold, fully funded plan to put people before profit and immediately lower your daily expenses.
Here is how we will tackle the cost of living across Victoria:

1. Fix the Housing Crisis

2. Stop Supermarket Price Gouging

3. Cheaper, Better Public Transport

4. Lower Your Energy Bills

5. Genuinely Free Education

How do we pay for it? 💰
By making billionaires and mega-corporations pay their fair share. The Greens don't take corporate donations, meaning we answer only to you—not property developers, big banks, or fossil fuel giants.
Let’s build a fairer Victoria where everyone has what they need.

The abhorrent online abuse and death threats directed at Polly Filla after the Castlemaine Secondary College Wear It Purple Day event are completely unacceptable. This was a safe, fully supervised, and entirely optional school event. Yet, a loud minority has chosen bigotry over truth and celebration of our community’s diversity and support for some of our most vulnerable young people.

Bullying and intimidation are not legitimate forms of public debate. This toxic behavior is cowardice, and it demonstrates exactly why Wear It Purple Day remains so necessary to protect and support our LGBTIQA+ youth.

I acknowledge the deep distress this online cruelty has caused, and stand in solidarity with Polly Filla, Castlemaine Secondary College, and our LGBTIQA+ community.

The Greens stand with our LGBTQIA+ community- every MP, every vote, every single time! 🏳️‍🌈

I love Maldon, and I will always fight for our regional communities.
From ensuring everyone has access to affordable housing, to more regular public transport; regional Victoria deserves a future where no one is left behind.
For too long, our rural towns have been overlooked by the major political parties. The Greens have a proven track record of standing with regional areas to demand real action on the climate crisis, stronger support for our local farmers, and proper investment in the essential community services we all rely on.
We need practical solutions that make our towns fairer and more sustainable. I am ready to be a strong voice for Maldon and the Tarrengower region, to ensure our regional communities get the fair share they deserve.
Maldon; I invite you to our campaign launch where you can meet all of our Greens candidates for the state election. Sign up in the comments below.
