Our crews will be busy across the region this week carrying out essential roadworks to help keep our network safe and in good condition.

** HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY CASINO AND DISTRICT HISTORICAL SOCIETY **

Mayor Robert Mustow joined Member for Clarence Richie Williamson and members of the Casino and District Historical Society to celebrate their 60th birthday today.

They are pictured here with long-serving member Nina Handford, secretary Gail Sullivan and president Warren Armfield.

As part of the celebrations, the museum is holding an open day today and tomorrow where you can explore all the history they have on show.

🐨🚨Koalas Are Being Hit on Our Roads 🚨🐨

More than 20 koalas have been struck on Northern Rivers roads since June which is a heartbreaking toll.

As they cross roads more often in search of food, mates, or shelter, koalas are at greater risk every day.

Please slow down. Stay alert. Every koala life matters.
