The Children enjoyed their Christmas party today! There was lots of fun activities to keep them all busy and plenty of water play to keep everyone cool! The children opened their hand made presents from our amazing educators and put them straight to use! Happy holidays everyone!! Have a safe and Merry Christmas/New Year, see you next year!!

Don't forget our Christmas party on Thursday! Even if your child isn't booked in for the day come along and bring a plate of party food to share! Enjoy some fun and games to celebrate another wonderful year! Just a reminder we close at 4pm on the 22nd Dec.🎄

As we get closer to the end of another fantastic year, we would like to remind you all that we will be closing on the 22nd December at 4pm after our Christmas party and re opening on the 30th January.

Over the past few months the children planted some seeds in our veggie garden; they watered them each day and watched them grow. Today the children got to harvest their carrots, wash them and taste them! This lead to a discussion about making healthy choices and promoting sustainability. The children use the water from our rain water tank to help our vegetables grow and save their food scraps for one of our families chickens. The children absolutely love gardening and seeing the results of their hard work, even if it is super tempting to pick them daily! Some of our children talked about their families growing big crops at home on their farms. Its a great way to connect to our community and our families lifestyles!

Today the children had a special visit from the Carnamah police, they had an absolute blast! Asking lots of questions and learning lots of interesting things. Thank you so much for coming to our centre and making our day! P.s we loved our little gifts!

The children have been busy with lots of beautiful artwork to commemorate Reconciliation Week. Today they made Damper, they each made their own small peice to pop in the oven and enjoy for Afternoon tea.
