Fantastic results from the girls at their very first NSW CHS State Carnival! 🤩

Jarra placed 9th in the 15 Years 100m Breaststroke, while also helping her Endeavour Sports High team secure 4th place in the 12 x 50m All Age Relay and 8th place in the 4 x 50m Relay.

Brodie achieved 15th place in the 13 Years 100m Breaststroke and also placed 11th swimming up an age group in the 14 Years 4 x 50m Relay.

An incredible effort from both girls in their first ever State Carnival - we are SO proud of you both! 🫶

The biggest lie that we have ever heard being told about Swimming is that getting kids to swim further will help them become better swimmers.

Distance ≠ Good Swimming.

What happens when you actually get students to swim further before they have the correct technique is that they will develop poor habits that can cause injury, and take more effort while swimming.

At Swimmerz, we have made it our mission to ensure that our students have the correct technique and body positioning before moving into longer distances in order for them to become stronger, more efficient swimmers. You won't find us putting kids into levels that they are not ready for, or getting them to swim distances that may contribute to poor technique or positioning. 🎤 💦

We are SO thrilled to let you know that we have been named as Finalists for the 2026 Sutherland Shire Local Business Awards! Not only that, but it is our 6th year in a row as finalists! Our facility has grown a lot over the past 6 years, and we are incredibly proud of what we have achieved in that time.

While this is only a small snapshot of our crew, we wouldn't be half the team we are without the wonderful learn to swim teachers, squad coaches, lifeguards, pool deck supervisors, admin team and management that help us to run day to day and provide a service that we are so proud of. 🤩 💖
