Cardinia Focus: Information Session

Join the team from Next Wave online to learn more about Kickstart and the EOI process, focusing on opportunities for artists connected to Cardinia Shire. We’ll share an overview of the program, what to expect across 2026–27, and how to approach your submission, followed by time for questions. This session is open to anyone thinking about applying, whether you have a clear idea or are still figuring things out. Please let us know if you have any access needs.

Cardinia Shire Council is inviting community members to submit photographs that capture their connection to water across Cardinia Shire, from local creeks and wetlands to rivers and coastlines. This community photography display will be part of the Catchment to Coast exhibition held at Cardinia Cultural Centre, with lead artists Kate Gorringe-Smith and Jina He.

Submission deadline: Wednesday, 1 July 2026

Submission requirements:
- 1 photo per person
- Photos must be original work
- Must relate to waterways, water, or aquatic environments within the shire
- Applicants give consent for their photo to be used in
- Catchment to Coast exhibition
- Council communications (website, social media, print)
