TOUCH FOOTBALL KNOCKOUT ✨

These Southy superstars had an amazing day playing round 1 and 2 of our Knockout Competition.

The boys won their first game against Edgeworth Heights in extra time, with the final score of 11-10. They advanced into round 2, winning again against Elermore Vale, with a score of 7-6.

The girls played Edgeworth Heights in round 1 and won 8-1. They then played Elermore Vale and won with an impressive score of 14-1.

This week, Lexi has been at Cronulla representing the Hunter in the Girl’s Rugby League Championships. The Hunter team made it all the way to the grand final but were beated by Sydney West. Congratulations on a wonderful achievement, Lexi. You are well on your way to achieving your goal of playing in the NRLW! All of the Southy community are so proud of you!

Just a reminder, we have our Aboriginal Education Community Team Yarn tomorrow afternoon at 2pm in the Library. Everyone is welcome. We will be discussing organisation for NAIDOC Week and our student's cultural PLP goals. We look forward to seeing you there!

Today is Mabo Day - The official end of Reconciliation Week.

We explored how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

Reconciliation will not happen by itself, and it will not happen without all of us.

2027 Kindergarten families are warmly invited to attend our upcoming Kindergarten Expo. We will begin with a tour of our school and have a variety of stations for parents/carers to move around with information such as literacy, numeracy, wellbeing, school readiness, OOSH to name a few. Please RSVP using the QR code on the flyer. Families who have already enrolled their child will receive an email with this information. If you haven't enrolled your child yet you are still welcome to attend.

Week 6 attendance

Well done to 1T for your fabulous attendance!

The cooler weather has arrived so please remember to pack a jacket/jumper. There are a lot of jackets and jumpers in lost property with NO names on them. Don't forget to label your uniforms!!
