Kid: “But I thought you were a mermaid and lived here!” 🧜‍♀️
Note to self:
1️⃣ Teach floating
2️⃣ Teach kicking
3️⃣ Explain that swim teachers don’t actually sleep in the pool

Although… it would save a lot of commute time. 😆

🐬Season aquatic closures🐬

We are readying up for our region’s seasonal closures of aquatic centres to carry out our annual off season maintenance.

The key dates are:

Emerald, the 50 metre pool will close from 20 April and the 25 metre pool from 29 May.
Learn To Swim (LTS) at Emerald remains open for LTS classes.

Sapphire will close from 17 April

Capella, Blackwater, Springsure and Rolleston will close from 24 April

Our aquatic centres will reopen for Spring.

Council will post again to advise you of the exact opening dates.

Our last day is Friday 24th April.
We're hoping to re-open on Monday 24th August!!!

This morning was our last Sunrise opening for this Season. Our OPENING times change from tomorrow.
Good Friday: CLOSED
Easter Sat, Sun & Mon: 10am - 4pm.
Tues 7th- Fri 24th April: 9am-5pm.
CLOSED FOR WINTER from 25th April. We will re-open at the end of August.

Learn to Swim has finished for my 8th Season here in Capella.
I'd like to thank all our lovely swim fams for your dedication, our Swimmers for being so awesome & my Staff who work so hard to keep this Centre amazing. I appreciate all of you.
Thank you for all my gorgeous Easter Pressies... I'm extremely grateful & honoured to be teaching your children. See you when Lessons start back in October.
