Canberra Offroad Trip Plan – 23rd November 2025

Meeting Point & Start
• Tuggeranong Skate Park (meet here at 08:30AM)
• Quick check: fuel, tires, water, snacks, and gear.



Route Overview
• Tuggeranong Skate Park → Namadgi National Park → Mount Franklin → Gudgenby Valley → Return to Canberra
• Distance: ~100–120 km round trip
• Duration: 3–4 hours
• Difficulty: Moderate dirt/gravel roads, some mild hills



Suggested Schedule

08:00 AM – Meet at Tuggeranong Skate Park
• Ensure everyone has water, snacks, phone/GPS, and gear.
• Brief route discussion and safety check.

08:15 AM – Depart to Namadgi National Park (via Boboyan Rd)
• Scenic bushland drive, optional stop at Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve for photos/stretch (~15 mins).

09:30 AM – Mount Franklin
• Drive via Mount Franklin Rd (dirt track, moderate difficulty).
• Stop at Mount Franklin Lookout for panoramic views (~15–20 mins).

10:30 AM – Gudgenby Valley
• Follow Gudgenby Road, dirt/gravel track.
• Optional picnic stop by Gudgenby River (~30 mins).

11:30 AM – Return to Canberra via Boboyan Rd
• Scenic countryside drive, watch for wildlife.

12:30 PM – Arrive back in Tuggeranong or nearby Canberra café

🚙 Mt Coree Off-Road Trip – Sunday, 7th September 2025 🌄

📍 Meeting Point: Weston Creek Skate Park
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We’ll gather at Weston Creek Skate Park at 10am, then head out in convoy towards Brindabella National Park for an off-road adventure to the Mt Coree Fire Tower lookout. Expect fun climbs, rough tracks, and amazing 360° views from the summit!

👉 Important: Please bring your own food and enough water for the trip.
✅ Recovery gear & UHF radios recommended.
