(English below) อัครราชทูตฯ เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำโดยมีผู้บัญชาการตำรวจแห่งชาติออสเตรเลียเป็นเจ้าภาพ

เมื่อวันที่ ๙ กันยายน ๒๕๖๙ นางสาวจิตวิภา เบญจศีล อัครราชทูต สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา ได้เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงอาหารเย็น ซึ่งนาง Krissy Barrett APM ผู้บัญชาการตำรวจแห่งชาติออสเตรเลีย เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดให้แก่เอกอัครราชทูตของประเทศในภูมิภาคเอเชีย หรือผู้แทน ที่โรงเรียนตำรวจ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา เพื่อสร้างเครือข่ายระหว่างทีมงานสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติออสเตรเลียกับหัวหน้าสำนักงาน/ผู้แทนสถานเอกอัครราชทูตประเทศในเอเชียต่าง ๆ โดยในโอกาสดังกล่าว ผู้บัญชาการตำรวจแห่งชาติออสเตรเลียได้กล่าวเน้นความสำคัญของความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศที่มีผลต่อประสิทธิภาพในการดำเนินงานด้านต่าง ๆ อาทิ การปราบปรามอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ รวมถึงปัญหาหลอกลวงออนไลน์ในภูมิภาค นอกจากนี้ ยังได้หยิบยกการเดินทางไปต่างประเทศที่สำคัญ รวมถึงการเยือนไทยเมื่อเดือนกรกฎาคม ๒๕๖๙ ซึ่งสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติออสเตรเลียมีความร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องของไทยเป็นอย่างดี

Minister, Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra, attended Asia Head of Mission Official Dinner hosted by Commissioner of the Australian Federal Police

On 9 September 2026, Ms. Jitvipa Benjasil, Minister, Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra, attended the Asia Head of Mission Official Dinner which Ms Krissy Barrett APM, Commissioner of the Australian Federal Police (AFP), hosted for ambassadors and high commissioners of Asian countries or their representatives at the AFP College.

At the event, the Commissioner gave remarks highlighting the importance of international cooperation and networking among police officers to effectively combat transnational crimes including online scams in the region. She also mentioned recent overseas trips including the trip to Thailand in July, where AFP has had a close collaboration with relevant Thai agencies.

(English below) เมื่อวันที่ ๙ กันยายน ๒๕๖๙ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา ได้ให้การต้อนรับคณะกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ นำโดย ดร.พงศ์ไท ไทโยธิน ผู้ตรวจราชการกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ ซึ่งเดินทางเยือนออสเตรเลียเพื่อเข้าร่วมการประชุม Joint Working Group (JWG) on Agriculture ครั้งที่ ๒๖ และการประชุม Expert Group on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures and Food Standards (SPS Expert Group) ครั้งที่ ๒๒ กับกระทรวงเกษตร ประมงและป่าไม้ออสเตรเลีย ระหว่างวันที่ ๘-๑๐ กันยายน ๒๕๖๙ ที่กรุงแคนเบอร์รา

ในโอกาสนี้ นางสาวอาจารี ศรีรัตนบัลล์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา ได้กล่าวต้อนรับคณะฯ โดยย้ำถึงความสำคัญของความร่วมมือด้านการเกษตรระหว่างไทยกับออสเตรเลีย ซึ่งครอบคลุมทั้งด้านการค้าและการเปิดตลาด มาตรฐานและความปลอดภัยของสินค้าเกษตรและอาหาร ตลอดจนการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ นวัตกรรม และเทคโนโลยี พร้อมทั้งกล่าวถึงศักยภาพของทั้งสองประเทศในการต่อยอดความร่วมมือด้านการเกษตรให้สอดรับกับความท้าทายในปัจจุบัน

การประชุม JWG on Agriculture และ SPS Expert Group เป็นกลไกหลักภายใต้ความร่วมมือด้านการเกษตรระหว่างไทยกับออสเตรเลีย โดยการประชุม JWG on Agriculture เป็นเวทีหารือเชิงนโยบายและส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในสาขาต่าง ๆ อาทิ การผลิตสินค้าเกษตรและอาหารอย่างยั่งยืน การจัดการดินและที่ดิน ทรัพยากรน้ำ ปศุสัตว์ และการประมง ขณะที่การประชุม SPS Expert Group เป็นกลไกภายใต้ความตกลงการค้าเสรีไทย-ออสเตรเลีย (TAFTA) สำหรับการหารือประเด็นด้านมาตรการสุขอนามัยและสุขอนามัยพืช มาตรฐานสินค้าเกษตรและอาหาร การเปิดตลาด และความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ

On 9 September 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra hosted a delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand, led by Dr. Pongthai Thaiyothin, Inspector General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. The delegation visited Australia to participate in the 26th Joint Working Group (JWG) on Agriculture and the 22nd Expert Group on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures and Food Standards (SPS Expert Group) with the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry of Australia, held from 8-10 September 2026 in Canberra.

On this occasion, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, welcomed the delegation and underscored the importance of Thailand-Australia cooperation in agriculture, covering trade and market access, agricultural and food standards and safety, as well as the exchange of knowledge, innovation and technology. The Ambassador also highlighted the potential for the two countries to further advance agricultural cooperation in response to current challenges.

The JWG on Agriculture and SPS Expert Group meetings are key mechanisms for Thailand-Australia cooperation in agriculture. The JWG on Agriculture provides a forum for policy discussions and promoting cooperation in areas such as sustainable agricultural and food production, soil and land management, water resources, livestock and fisheries. Meanwhile, the SPS Expert Group, established under the Thailand-Australia Free Trade Agreement (TAFTA), provides a platform for discussions on sanitary and phytosanitary measures, agricultural and food standards, market access and technical cooperation.

(English below) เมื่อวันที่ ๘ กันยายน ๒๕๖๙ นางสาวอาจารี ศรีรัตนบัลล์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา ได้เข้าพบหารือกับนาง Krissy Barrett APM ผู้บัญชาการตำรวจแห่งชาติออสเตรเลีย ณ สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติออสเตรเลีย โดยมีนาย Stephen Nutt ผู้ช่วยผู้บัญชาการตำรวจแห่งชาติออสเตรเลียเข้าร่วมด้วย

ทั้งสองฝ่ายยินดีกับความร่วมมือที่ใกล้ชิดระหว่างสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติไทยกับสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติออสเตรเลีย โดยเฉพาะด้านการปราบปรามอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ รวมถึงการแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติด การค้ามนุษย์ และการหลอกลวงออนไลน์ โดยในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯได้เน้นย้ำความพร้อมของฝ่ายไทยที่จะขยายผลแถลงการณ์ร่วมว่าด้วยการปราบปรามอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติที่ผู้นำทั้งสองฝ่ายได้ร่วมลงนามในช่วงการเยือนออสเตรเลียอย่างเป็นทางการของนายกรัฐมนตรี เพื่อให้เกิดผลเป็นรูปธรรมต่อไป

นอกจากนี้ สองฝ่ายยังได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับความท้าทายจากเทคโนโลยีรวมถึงผลกระทบที่อาจมีต่อปัญหาการใช้ความรุนแรงและแนวคิดสุดโต่งโดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มเยาวชนที่กำลังมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มมากขึ้นในปัจจุบัน ตลอดจนหารือเรื่องการต่อต้านการก่อการร้ายในเวทีระหว่างประเทศ

On 8 September 2026, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, met with Ms. Krissy Barrett APM, Commissioner of the Australian Federal Police, at the Australian Federal Police headquarter. Mr. Stephen Nutt, Assistant Commissioner of the Australian Federal Police, also joined the meeting.

Both sides welcomed close collaboration and cooperation between the Royal Thai Police and the Australian Federal Police (AFP), particularly in combating transnational crimes, including drug trafficking, human trafficking, and online scams. The Ambassador emphasised Thailand's readiness to build upon the leaders' joint statement on combating transnational crime signed by the Prime Ministers of both countries during Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul's official visit to Australia, towards concrete implementation and tangible outcomes.

In addition, both sides exchanged views on the challenges posed by technological development, including its possible impact in relation to growing problems of violence and extremism especially among young people today. They also discussed about international efforts on counterterrorism.

(English below) เมื่อวันที่ ๒๗ สิงหาคม ๒๕๖๙ นางสาวอาจารี ศรีรัตนบัลล์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา ได้เข้าร่วมและกล่าวในงานส่งเสริมการลงทุน Thailand Investment Briefing จัดโดยสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (BOI) ที่นครแอดิเลด โดยมีผู้แทนภาครัฐ ภาคธุรกิจ และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องของรัฐเซาท์ออสเตรเลียเข้าร่วม

เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ย้ำเกี่ยวกับโอกาสในการต่อยอดความสัมพันธ์ทางเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนระหว่างไทยกับออสเตรเลียภายหลังการเยือนออสเตรเลียอย่างเป็นทางการของนายอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล นายกรัฐมนตรี โดยทั้งสองประเทศมีความมุ่งมั่นร่วมกันที่จะเพิ่มพูนการค้าและการลงทุน และแสวงหาโอกาสความร่วมมือในสาขาต่าง ๆ อาทิ เกษตรและอาหาร พลังงานสะอาด การศึกษา สุขภาพ เทคโนโลยีสำคัญ ทรัพยากร อุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์ และเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล พร้อมทั้งเน้นถึงศักยภาพของไทยในฐานะฐานการผลิต ความเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของห่วงโซ่อุปทานที่สำคัญและประตูสู่ตลาดในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้

นอกจากนี้ เมื่อวันที่ 26 สิงหาคม 2569 เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เข้าร่วมงาน Thailand: Unlocking Growth for Australian SMEs Roundtable ซึ่งจัดโดย BOI ผ่านระบบออนไลน์ เพื่อส่งเสริมความรู้ความเข้าใจและแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับโอกาสของ SMEs ออสเตรเลียในการเข้ามาดำเนินธุรกิจและลงทุนในไทย โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เน้นย้ำถึงศักยภาพของไทยในฐานะตลาด ฐานการผลิตและห่วงโซ่อุปทาน ตลอดจนแพลตฟอร์มสำหรับการขยายธุรกิจสู่ภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้

On 27 August 2026, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, attended and delivered remarks at the Thailand Investment Briefing, organised by the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) in Adelaide, with participation from government, business and relevant organisations in South Australia.

In her remarks, the Ambassador highlighted opportunities to promote trade and investment between Thailand and Australia following the Official Visit to Australia by H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of Thailand. The Ambassador noted the shared commitment of both countries to increase two-way trade and investment and pursue cooperation in areas including agriculture and food, clean energy, education, healthcare, critical technologies, resources, creative industries and the digital economy. The remarks also highlighted Thailand’s strengths as a key manufacturing and supply chain hub and a gateway to Southeast Asian markets.

The Ambassador further highlighted South Australia’s strength in areas aligned with Thailand’s economic priorities, particularly critical minerals, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, agriculture and food, and research and innovation. Australian businesses are encouraged to explore opportunities to connect the strengths of both economies, promote investment and technology partnerships, and develop more resilient supply chains, contributing to economic growth in Australia and Thailand.

In addition, on 26 August 2026, the Ambassador participated online in the Thailand: Unlocking Growth for Australian SMEs Roundtable, organised by BOI, to promote greater awareness and exchange views on opportunities for Australian SMEs to do business and invest in Thailand. The Ambassador highlighted Thailand’s strengths as a market, manufacturing and supply chain hub, and a platform for Australian businesses seeking to expand into Southeast Asia.
