High Commissioner Nagesh Singh visited Adelaide University and held productive discussions with Prof. Jessica Gallagher, Deputy Vice Chancellor (International & External Engagement), on strengthening 🇮🇳–🇦🇺 cooperation in higher education, research and innovation.

Discussions explored deeper institutional partnerships, student and researcher mobility, joint research, industry engagement and collaboration in green energy, critical minerals, AI, agriculture and space.

Mr Amit Shukla, Joint Secretary (Cyber Diplomacy), Ministry of External Affairs had a productive meeting with Ms Jessica Hunter, Ambassador for Cyber Affairs and Critical Technology, Australia.

Both sides discussed the enduring India-Australia partnership in cyber and critical technologies and exchanged ideas for operationalising the India-Australia Partnership on Cyber, Critical Technologies and Supply Chains (PACTS).

As part of the visit, Joint Secretary Shukla also spoke at the TSD AI Masterclass organised by the Australian Strategic Policy Institute in Canberra, in the panel on AI adoption across the Indo- Pacific.
