Julie Tongs Fantastic to see 13 Candidates standing in this month’s election for the First Nations Party

Who: Three candidates in Brindabella (Wendy Brookman, Jack McDougall, and Dylan Robb); five in Kurrajong (Rhiannon Connors, Thaddeus Connors, Paul Girrawah House, Harrison Pike, and Jessika Spencer); five in Yerrabi (Lisa Barnes, Michael Duncan, Kye Moggridge, Cooper Pike, and Tyson Powell).

What: Justice, respect and representation are the three cornerstones of the party, they have said.

Party leader Paul Girrawah House said he is "committed to uniting the region's First Nation people and all Canberrans", and that Closing the Gap is "of paramount importance".

"I am convinced that I can bring a unique perspective to the ACT Assembly," he said.

"This vision can only be realised with the success of the First Nation Party."
