Yesterday we had the honour of hosting Travis Lovett and Renata during their second-to-last leg of the National Walk for Truth. Joined by our CEO and executive team, the walk from ANU to Maraga and the tour that followed offered a moment to reflect on the truths, histories and lived experiences underpinning this national call for truth telling.

As the Walk continued to Reconciliation Place, we walked in support of its call for truth, understanding and lasting national change.

National Reconciliation Week begins tomorrow (27 May – 3 June). At AIATSIS, we stand alongside communities across Australia in a shared commitment to reflection, listening and meaningful action.

This year’s theme, “All In,” invites each of us to play a part, by listening deeply, learning openly, engaging in truth-telling and taking action that supports reconciliation.

Being All In starts with each of us, today and every day.
