Hi Guys. So everyone knows there is now a defibrillator in the Barton truck that lives at our station. There will be a list of phone numbers you can call I will put in the doorway entrance of people that live close and can open the station for you in an emergency. We got this on a grant and it makes the whole are safer as the next closest is at Epping forest 15 minutes away.

Well done to all crews involved with some frantic work stopping the fire before it could make a run up the mountain. This will be a worry for the remainder of summer with large trees and roots having the potential to burn for months.

Falling a lightning struck tree on the western tiers above the station last season with a couple of the TFS boys. Amazing to see the accuracy of where they can drop them.
