Even after a big skip, we still had more heading to the tip! 😅 Thank goodness for Junk.com.au . With time running thin, we rang and booked them in
that simple. Not only are they coming to collect, but they’re loading it all too, which with only days left and us being absolutely flat out, is such a blessing 🙌 Running an organisation from home really helps… and definitely builds up the goods!

From household clutter and junk pick up to furniture removal, our team helps you get rid of it all.

Our founders’ current living situation means we need to prepare for the very real possibility of homelessness, so we’re putting a Plan B in place.
We are required to vacate our current property by 2/2/26 (in 6 days). At present, we have three rental applications pending, however we are realistic that hearing back may take longer than the time we have — and we’re also prepared for the possibility that none may be successful.
In the meantime, all Community Care Packs operations are on pause, and all items have been safely moved into storage.
Our priority right now is safety and stability. Rather than rushing into an unsafe or uncertain situation, we are looking to line up a pet-friendly (all dogs registered), safe camping option as a temporary solution while we navigate the housing crisis once again — this would be fully self-funded and organised as a last-minute backup this Friday if needed.
If you know of any safe, pet-friendly camping sites or similar short-term options, we would truly appreciate hearing from you.
We are hopeful we’ll hear back from real estates soon, but we’re also being realistic — if it’s going to be messy, we’re making it organised.

💥Important Notice & Kind Reminder from Community Care Packs 💥

We’d like to gently remind our community that Community Care Packs is unable to provide individual care packs at this time due to our current personal circumstances.
As a family-run not-for-profit, there are moments when life events temporarily impact what we’re able to do. While we don’t expect this pause to be long, the timeframe is currently unknown as it is linked to our living situation.
That said, we are still very happy to accept non-perishable food and hygiene donations, which will be passed directly on to our wonderful partners at The IN Crowd Australia .
We kindly ask for your patience while we work through messages, and we ask that you please message and wait for a confirmed response before dropping off donations during this time.

Yesterday we picked up fresh hot dog buns from The American Hotdog Company and delivered them, along with some other goodies, to Nambour Community Centre — with the help of our little helper once again! 🥰🌭
So grateful for the amazing support that helps us continue caring for our community 💛

We kicked off another busy day by picking up fresh, hot dog buns from the amazing The American Hotdog Company and delivering them straight to the Nambour Community Centre along with a few extra goodies 🌭🤍
We wrapped up the day with an important meeting and plenty of packing — full steam ahead!
Please note: Unfortunately, as the members of Community Care Packs are needing to secure a new home themselves, we’re unable to provide direct support at this time. We may still be able to offer information or point you in the right direction.
To help make this transition smoother, we’re currently only accepting non-perishable food, hygiene items, or cash donations. Your understanding and continued support truly means the world to us 💛🙏

🎉 Happy Birthday Community Care Packs! 🎉
One year ago today, the Taylor family said “enough — there has to be something we can do.”
From that moment, Community Care Packs was born 💛
In just one year, we’ve supported individuals and families doing it tough through care packs, food support, emergency essentials, and genuine human connection. We’ve worked alongside amazing local services, built strong community partnerships, and seen firsthand how kindness can change lives.
None of this would be possible without our incredible supporters, donors, volunteers, and community — thank you for believing in what we do 🥰
