What a great night for a Spring Concert! Stunning performances, beautiful art works, an appreciative audience and good food. Even the weather turned it on for us. It was lovely to see past students join us too. Well done Calamvale Special School Community. We are all in this together!

We know Friday is looking cloudy and there is rain forecast in the morning BUT there is none forecast for the afternoon or evening SO Spring Concert is good to GO - Yay. We will be undercover on the night just in case. Looking forward to seeing the school community support our amazing student performances and art works!

Check out our new school shirts! Our old supplier has increased the cost of shirts to a point that they were no longer the best option. We decided now was as good a time as any then to change our look. After much deliberation, Student Council and P&C input and voting on the design here is the winner. We will order all of our new shirts in this design. Students can wear the old shirts or new shirts while we transition for as long as that takes.

On Thursday our students and staff participated in our annual Rainbow Fun Run to celebrate following our PB4L expectations of We are Safe, We are Kind, and We are Learners! Everyone got dressed in their favourite bright colours, we found our way out of a tricky maze, we raced through a lush rainbowy jungle, felts lots of foamy rainbow bubbles and some of us even got slimed by rainbow goo! What an amazing day!!!
