❤️ Every poppy has a purpose. Lest we forget.

Cairns RSL Sub Branch is proud to be part of this wonderful initiative and invites all veterans, their families, friends and the wider Cairns community to join us at the Field of Remembrance at Earlville Shopping Town.

🌺 Make a poppy or plant one in honour of Australia’s servicemen and women. Every poppy represents a story, a sacrifice and a promise to remember.

📅 31 October – 10 November
⏰ Monday–Saturday: 9am–2pm | Sunday: 10:30am–2pm
📍 Centre Court, Earlville Shopping Town

Our volunteers will be there to assist and poppies will be available, so everyone can take part.

Let’s come together as a community to create a beautiful tribute to those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Lest we forget. ❤️🌺

Earlville Shopping Town, in partnership with Cairns RSL Sub Branch, invites the Cairns community to come together for our Field of Remembrance.

Last night, Cairns RSL Sub Branch President Nathan Shingles and Board Director Rob Lee attended the Cairns Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards presentation night.

We are incredibly honoured to be a finalist in the Community Contribution category, recognising businesses that go above and beyond to give back to the Cairns community.

At Cairns RSL Sub Branch, our mission is to ensure no veteran or their family ever feels forgotten, alone or unsupported. Being recognised for our commitment to caring for our Defence family is something we are extremely proud of.

Congratulations to all the finalists and thank you to the Cairns community for your continued support!

🌭☀️ Sunday BBQ – A Little Bump in the Road!

It was a rough start to our monthly Sunday BBQ when the BBQ's on the Esplanade decided not to cooperate! 😅

A huge thank you to Stephen Dry from Cairns Regional Council for coming to the rescue and getting the BBQs up and running. We really appreciate you saving the day!

And of course, thank you to Graeme and Tony for firing up the BBQ and cooking up a great feed. The wait was worth it! 👏🍔
