This morning I the joined 1000 Voices for 1000 Girls breakfast at Parliament House. We heard from World Vision Ambassador Jelena Djokovic about the importance of ensuring girls everywhere can access education, live free from violence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Almost one in three girls will face violence in their lives. But we can break that cycle. That’s why I am pleased to support World Vision’s call to sponsor 1,000 girls by 11 October, International Day of the Girl.
