We are a play-based inclusive Kindergarten offering a program for children in the year before Prep (for children aged 3 - 5.5 years). Our Kindergarten is community-based and not-for-profit run by a parent committee, which allows us to continually re-invest in the Kindergarten and keep the fees affordable for families.We run two groups that follow the Queensland State School calendar each year: - The Red Group on Monday, Tuesday & alternate Wednesday, - The Blue Group on Thursday, Friday & alternate Wednesday.The Kindy follows the C&K Building Waterfalls curriculum which emphasises play and a child-led emergent program. Our Teacher & Educators are highly experienced, warm, caring and dedicated professionals. Many parents of children who attend the Kindy were past Kindy kids themselves, which is a testament in itself!Our Kindy is well resourced with large book & educational resource/toy libraries. Technology is highly integrated with several iPads, a PC and an interactive whiteboard for children's use. We also have an online program called Kindy Portal in place for communication about children's learning journeys between families and Teachers. Our playground is all-natural and well-established, giving children the rare opportunity to play on grass in the shade of trees.
