Gunner Bill's Heritage Centre

Gunner Bill's Heritage Centre Formerly the Bute Police Station, the building opened in Nov. 1911 on Railway Tce Bute.

Comprising a courtroom, office, a 4 room attached residence, a cell block and horse stalls the station was closed in 1974 and handed to the Bute District Council.

Please note that the Heritage Centre will not be open on Friday afternoons from Friday the 19th of December 2025. It will re-open again on Friday afternoons starting from Friday 23rd January 2026. Appointments can still be made during this time by calling Meredith on 0409097914.
