Forest Hill College Our facilities are designed to inspire contemporary teaching and learning practices.

At Forest Hill College we have high expectations of all members of our community and place a great deal of emphasis on supporting staff, students and families to achieve the very best possible outcomes. The College has invested heavily in facilities with flexible learning spaces that have been carefully designed to extend into the beautiful gardens and grounds that enhance the school’s warm and friendly feel. The sporting and arts programs are enhanced by facilities that are the envy of most schools. With our double gymnasium, synthetic soccer field and tennis courts, our sports programs are rich with resources. The Theatre, iMac computer room, music rehearsal studios and visual arts spaces are integral components of the College’s excellent Performing and Visual Arts programs. The introduction of a VCE Study Centre has complemented a learning environment that allows students to work in a way that develops their skills for a life beyond Secondary School. All aspects of our Curriculum Program are enhanced by a fully networked wireless environment where every student has a digital device. An active and positive relationship between the College and families enhances students learning. We welcome parents, friends and the community into life at Forest Hill College through formal bodies such as, College Council and Parents Association and through events such as, assemblies, whole College Carnivals and Information Evenings.

Six of our senior students recently attended the Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA) at Lyndale Secondary College.

The students were assigned Russia as their country and participated in debates on a number of United Nations resolutions from the perspective of their allocated nation. They were required to follow United Nations protocols and conventions while debating the resolutions.

All six students were excellent representatives of the College. They engaged enthusiastically in the debates and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was a valuable opportunity for students to develop their confidence, communication, critical thinking and debating skills while gaining a greater understanding of the work of the United Nations.

A huge congratulations to Noah, who recently competed in the State Music Champions – Clarinet.

We are very excited to announce Noah won not one, but 2, state titles, JUNIOR & OPEN.

No small feat as Noah only began playing in Year 7.

Hard work, dedication and passion really do pay off!

A huge congratulations to the DUX for the Class of 2025, Jen S, who received a Premiers VCE award to celebrate her score of 50 in Psychology.

It was an absolute pleasure to attend the ceremony last week at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre to celebrate her outstanding achievement, alongside her and her family.

The 2026 NAPLAN Results are in!

Our students have demonstrated outstanding growth from Year 7 in 2024 to Year 9 in 2026 at Forest Hill College.

We have excelled, with stunning results in Reading and Numeracy compared to Similar Schools, with high percentages of students reaching strong and exceeding levels.

We are so proud that 97% of our students, have either improved or maintained their proficiency levels during this time. Well done Year 9!
