And now we are out of the building

Our time with the church has now come to an end and the next chapter as a private home will commence soon

Thank you to everyone that stayed at our B & B. We have a contract that will settle 7/10. And unfortunately it will not continue as a B& B.

We need to clear all furniture out before that date. We will be having a clearance sale this coming Sunday 25/9 from 10am.
I have a couple of listings on Marketplace and the Double bed, 4 Poster bed and Butcher Block have been claimed. Plenty of other items still available.
Bring cash (eftpos available) and trailer.

Just to let everyone know that we have a contract for the sale of the church. If all goes well settlement is August 10th.
At this stage I have blocked all future bookings for 2022. The new owners will also operate the property as a B&B. After a transition period it will become available once again for you lovely people to enjoy.

Well a days work has saved the old shed. Not finished yet but now solid and ready for the next blow. Another days work and we will have the side wall replaced. Couldn't salvage any of the old wall as too damaged.

It has been a long time since the last post. We had a fair bit of rain and wind last night with the result of our very old and fragile shed at the back of the church finally collapsing. No water damage inside at least.
Time for some reconstruction work.

Hard to believe that the next school holidays are only just a week away. At this moment we have the following dates available.
Sat July 4 to Sat July 11 then Tues July 14 to Sun July 19.
That gives you plenty of days to select from for your short Winter holiday.
Bring yourselves and the kids up to Burra to explore the rich history of the district. The Burra Visitor Centre is always helpful in providing information of what to do in Burra and the surrounding areas.
In the meantime we have plenty of firewood to keep the fire burning on these cold nights.If you can't get out to explore the local area there are plenty of DVD's to play and maybe a game of pool or snooker.
Kids will entertain themselves and give you a chance to sit back and put the feet up and maybe enjoy some of The Clare Valley wines.

Hi All,
The next school holidays are just around the corner and we have been taking some bookings already but we still have some days available.
Available days are July 7,8 & 9. July 16,17,18,19 & 20.

Why not take a break away from the city and explore the history of Burra and you are not that far away from the Clare Valley and also Mintaro with its' maze to keep the kids busy.
Now if it is cold there will be plenty of firewood on hand to keep the fire going and you can nestle in for a dvd (plenty to choose from the selection on hand) or play some snooker on the pool table.
June is also still relatively clear with the exception of this long weekend so if you want to enjoy a romantic break and escape send a message to check availability.
