Today is Educators Day Wednesday 7 September. The timing is perfect because it’s SPRING 🌼, my favourite season. Crick’s Family Daycare have started a veggie patch project. The children are loving it.

Yesterday the coordinator arrived unexpectedly with a certificate and a gift. Her words were tomorrow is Educator’s Day. Sharon this is just to let you know, you are appreciated for the hard work you do. Thank you Carinbundi Scheme.

This morning a little man, M arrived for care, stood confidently at the door with a gift and the most gorgeous roses. Mum and Dad smiled and said thank you for being such a great educator.

This made my day. I believe as an early childhood teacher, my passion to care for young children relating to their learning and development, brings out the best in me. Brings out the best in the young children I care for and their families.

Positive Learning outcomes for young children in this book are:

Young children will develop an understanding, identify, connect and have a clearer description of the magpie, seen in their own environment, parks, and in the neighbourhood.

Their learning will be enhanced relating to the magpie’s characteristics and social behaviour.

Spring is here again 2021.

Last Friday my husband (Uncle Brian to the children) bought these lovely red roses for me. The children witnessed my husband giving the roses to me with a peck on my cheek.
T was the one that saw the roses first and shouted out “Sha Uncle Brian brought you flowers”

ROLE MODELLING
This Friday someone special in my care beat my husband to it. This morning T arrived with a big smile on his face, handing to me a beautiful bunch of flowers.

His mum’s words to me were,”thank you so much for all what you do for T”. Mum said T told her Uncle Brian bought Sha flowers, I want to buy flowers for Sha.

Learning Outcomes:
Children observe, learn, see and are influenced to do what they see.
Children look up to a variety of role models to help shape how they behave in relationships and decision making.
Children copy the behaviour of adults around them.
Parents are their children’s first teacher and they can help their children choose positive role models.

This beautiful cake had to be seen on Crick’s Family Daycare. Yes, the owner’s S and B celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary.

A big thank you to our children, their spouses, grandchildren for all your wishes. Spoiling your mum and dad making it an unforgettable anniversary weekend.

We were chauffeured to our weekend destination, lunch overlooking the Brisbane river, ending it off with this beautiful cake.

We want to thank God for his blessings and giving us 40 good years together. This is a year to celebrate because we have our own two new additions J and M born this year +2 means 7 grandchildren.

To our 6 extended families attending Crick’s Family Daycare thank you for your wishes.
