This week we were lucky enough to have an online author visit from North-West Coast writer Kate Gordon. This evening was organised to launch our Shared Shelf, multi-generational book club which starts next term. We will start by all reading My Brother, Finch.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Australian author, John Flanagan, a storyteller who captured the imaginations of readers across the globe.

Best known for the Ranger’s Apprentice series, his work opened the door to adventure, courage, and imagination for so many young people.

In libraries, classrooms, and quiet reading corners, his stories will continue to live on—sparking curiosity and a lifelong love of reading.
