The Brigade is managed and operated solely by volunteers, committed to serving and protecting their community.

This past weekend a medal ceremony was held at Winfield Rural Fire Brigade.

This was a great opportunity for volunteers across local brigades, staff and dignitaries to come together and celebrate.

Five of our Branyan volunteers received awards on Sunday.

Yesterday a crew from Branyan assisted a landowner with their permit burn 🔥

Remember, if its over 2mx2mx2 you need a permit which you can get through your local fire warden

🚒 Brayan RFB Volunteers Ready at Any Hour

No matter the time of day, Brayan Rural Fire Brigade volunteers are always ready to answer the call.

In the early hours of yesterday morning, our crew responded to a fire at the Bundaberg Waste Facility.
Our tanker, alongside the tanker from South Kolan, provided bulk water support to assist Queensland Fire & Rescue in bringing the flames under control and fully extinguishing the fire.

A huge thank‑you to our dedicated volunteers whose commitment keeps our community safe.
