🎓 2026 SENIOR FORMAL – PARENT FAQ 🎓
With the Year 12 Senior Formal fast approaching, we know parents and carers may have a few questions about how the evening will work. Please see below for some important information.
📸 FORMAL ARRIVALS – WHAT CAN PARENTS DO?

Student arrivals will commence from 5:00pm.
Can parents/carers watch the arrivals?
Yes! Everyone is welcome to watch students arrive from the grandstands behind Brothers Club.
Can parents/carers attend the arrivals area?
Only paid guests can enter the pre-dinner arrivals area on the grassed area behind Brothers Club.
Can parents/carers see the formal room?
Yes. Parents/carers will be invited to take a peek inside the formal room from approximately 6:45pm. Guests will then be asked to leave before students head upstairs for dinner at 7:00pm.
⏰ WHEN WILL MY CHILD ARRIVE?
Individual student arrival times will be published on Monday, 7 September.
The arrival list will be displayed on the noticeboard outside the Senior Hub.
🎟️ DO I NEED TO BRING A PHYSICAL TICKET?
No! There are no physical tickets for the Formal.
If you have purchased a pre-dinner guest ticket, your name will be on the guest list at the door at the rear of Brothers Club. Simply check in with staff when you arrive.
📍 WHERE CAN STUDENTS TAKE PHOTOS?
Students are welcome to gather with friends and family for photographs at local locations, such as the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens, before arriving at the Formal.
Please note that these photo opportunities are not organised, facilitated or supervised by the school.
🕥 WHAT TIME DOES THE FORMAL FINISH?
Students can be collected from 10:30pm at the earliest.
Please ensure appropriate arrangements are made for your child to be collected promptly at the conclusion of the evening.
🚫 WHAT ARE THE ALCOHOL EXPECTATIONS?
Although some Year 12 students may be 18 years or older, no alcohol is permitted at the Senior Formal.
The Formal is a school event, and alcohol must not be consumed: on the grassed arrivals area by students, parents or carers upstairs during dinner anywhere else as part of the Formal event.
We ask that all students, parents, carers and guests respect these expectations so we can provide a safe, enjoyable and memorable evening for everyone
