We keep telling people but Q-Stone Vitrum have pretty much summed it up! 0% silica!! all of our engineered stone from our many suppliers is 100% silica free.

Product Comparisons for Crystalline Silica Content

We've noticed a bit of confusion floating around the industry lately about what "silica-free" and "low-silica" actually mean and how different surfaces really stack up. So we wanted to set the record straight.

VITRUM is a crystalline silica-free glass-resin composite. Not low-silica. Not compliant-because-it-scrapes-under-the-threshold. Zero. That means it sits outside the scope of Australia's engineered stone ban entirely.

Quartzite and sandstone can run anywhere from 20–90% crystalline silica. Granite sits at 25–50%, slate at 20–40%, porcelain at 14–25% and even marble carries up to 5%. VITRUM: 0%.

It's the clearest way we can show it - not just compliant, but genuinely outside the risk category altogether. That's the confidence we want every VITRUM client to have in their choice.

A fabulous past client came to us - new house build the tops were by builder he says "I need to add waterfall ends" - ENTER THE SOTAS BOYS and voila looks amazing - sometimes the waterfall is the statement piece missing. 🤩

Beautiful sunrise this Friday morning 🌅 it's been a very busy week for the SOTAS team from manufacturing many tops in the shed, to site measures from all over the country side and local areas, to installing gorgeous tops in Vasse, Singleton and local Bunbury areas, it's been a tad hectic! but so much fun meeting lovely new clients and catching up with some of our past clients also. Enjoy your Friday and weekend, I think the sun might be popping it's head out so enjoy and get that vitamin D 🌞.
