ARTIST IN RESIDENCE - MULGA
Thanks to Jennifer Dalton-Smith for this opportunity and arranging Mulga to the Mackay Northern Beaches Community. Thanks Mulga The Artist for your inspiration and working with our teachers to share your craft and pass this on to our whole school. Our Year 5s loved the workshop opportunities and a number of our Year 2-6 students also joined an extension activity. We are looking forward to the final creations.

This Thursday, 10 September, we're supporting R U OK? Day by inviting students to wear their favourite pyjamas to school.

As the weather is warming up, please choose cool, comfortable pyjamas that are suitable for the heat.

A simple conversation can make a world of difference. Let's take the time to check in with one another and ask, "Are you OK?" 💛

🎨🌈 Parent Volunteers Needed for our Colour Fun Run 2026! 🌈🎨

Our exciting Colour Fun Run is happening on Wednesday, 16 September 2026, and we're looking for enthusiastic parents and carers to join our Colour Crew! 🎉

Volunteer tasks may include:
✅ Refreshing colour stations and sunglasses
✅ Spraying students with water, colour powder and slime
✅ Helping pack down at the end of the event

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the fun and help make the day memorable for our students. You do not need to stay for the entire day, any help is greatly appreciated! 😊
