A learner driver has blown more than six times the limit after being intercepted by officers from Fawkner Highway Patrol yesterday.

Police pulled over a 29-year-old woman about 8am on Pascoe Vale Road after she was allegedly observed using Facetime while driving.

Officers spoke to the woman, who underwent a preliminary breath test and returned a positive result.

She was then taken to a nearby police station where she underwent an evidentiary breath test, returning an alleged reading of .312.

EXERCISE CAUTION, LOCK UP YOUR VALUABLES.

Car keys, phones, wallets and headphones are easy targets when left unattended in the gym and in change rooms.

But there are steps you can take to protect your property while you work on your PB:

🏋️ don’t leave bags unattended
🏋️ use lockers provided where possible
🏋️ access passes are not for sharing, even if they have ‘forgotten’ theirs

If you witness suspicious behaviour, alert a staff member immediately.

To report a theft of property, report through our Online Reporting service or call the Police Assistance Line on 131 444.
For immediate police attendance, always call Triple Zero (000).

You may notice some changes to reception hours at your local Police Station.
These changes allow more police members to spend more time where they're needed most - responding to incidents, patrolling neighbourhoods, and supporting the community.
For non-urgent police assistance, call 131 444. As always, in an emergency, call 000.
