⚠️ A Bushfire Advice is in place for people in parts of DAMPIER PENINSULA including Mercedes Cove Retreat, Middle Lagoon, Pender Bay and Whalesong Campground in DAMPIER PENINSULA in the SHIRE OF BROOME.

⚠️ The alert level for this fire has been downgraded due to reduced fire behaviour in the area.

⚠️ There is no threat to lives or homes.

⚠️ There is a lot of smoke in the area.

A strong cold front is set to sweep across the South West of the state from Friday night into Saturday, bringing widespread showers, gusty winds, possible thunderstorms, and small hail in some areas. There’s even a chance of snow flurries at highest peak of Stirling ranges. Those in the Perth metro can expect a wet and windy Saturday with showers hanging around throughout the day.
