Alma Oval Changerooms: the wait is almost over! 🏉🏏

Like a long-awaited premiership cup or a patient cricket innings, the new Alma Oval Changerooms are getting very close to the finish line.
The new changeroom facility is being constructed off-site as a modular building, with the off-site build now nearing completion.

From Tuesday, 15 September, the Alma Oval site will be handed over to The Cabin Group to commence the onsite component of the works, including preparations for the arrival and installation of the new building.
Onsite works are expected to take approximately 4–6 weeks.

And for all the crane-loving fans out there, once the modular building is ready to make its way to Alma Oval, we’ll let the community know. It should be a pretty impressive sight as the building arrives and is lifted into position!
For safety reasons, there will be no community access to the construction site unless specifically authorised by Council’s Project Manager.

Regular maintenance activities around Alma Oval will continue during this period.
This project has been a long time coming, and we appreciate the patience, input and support of everyone who has been involved along the way.
