In week 3, Kedron's U16 boys futsal team played in the Queensland School Futsal League's finals day. After being crowned the Northern Conference League One premiers in term 3, the boys took on the other League One conference champions from across south-east Queensland. With some strong performances during the day, the team finished in 3rd place across the combined four conferences, an outstanding effort. A big congratulations to the boys on a fantastic season in Kedron's QSF debut, in which they won 11 out of 13 games played and scored over 100 goals across the year.💛🖤

During the first week of the term, Kedron sent three teams to compete at the Gold Coast All Schools touch football competition at Runaway Bay. Our 15 girls team were competitive in a really tough pool, while our 15 boys team were able to nab two strong wins, steadily improving throughout the competition. Our open mixed team bounced back from a first game defeat to put in some strong performances, fighting hard despite a number of injuries. In the end, they were a whisker away from getting out of their pool, finishing up with a record of 3 wins, 1 draw, and 2 losses. A big shout out in particular to our grade 12 students who represented Kedron for the last time, many of whom have been a part of touch football at Kedron for the last 4 years. Similarly, a big thank-you to our student referee team who took charge of well over 70 games through the competition. 💛🖤
