Commissioner Stuart Wood KC AM heard evidence presented by Counsel Assisting the Commission, Eddy Gisonda KC, Patrick Wheelahan KC, Genevieve Feely, Madeleine Stone, and Shannon Jenkins, who examined six witnesses including:

• Jacqueline King – General Secretary, Queensland Council of Unions (cross examination)
• Grant Killen – Managing Director, Concentric Concepts
• Scott Power – Chief Executive Officer, BMD Group
• Mark Irving KC – former Administrator of the CFMEU Construction and General Division (cross examination)
• Amanda Yeates – Deputy-Director General, Infrastructure Management and Delivery, Department of Main Roads and Transport (DTMR)
• John (Jack) Ryan – Deputy Regional Director, Metropolitan Region, Department of Transport and Main Roads

The next hearing block is due to commence Tuesday 6 October 2026.
