Haemophilia Foundation Queensland

Haemophilia Foundation Queensland HFQ supports people and their families & carers affected by bleeding disorders in Queensland are done so in a voluntary capacity.

HFQ is governed by an elected committee in line with the constitution. The committee meets monthly to monitor the direction of the organisation and relevant issues. Members of the committee that are elected into roles such as president, vice president etc. The day to day operations of the Foundation are coordinated by the Manager and the Administration Officer from the office in Brisbane. HFQ oper

ates as a not for profit organisation its effectiveness is dependent upon the goodwill of many volunteers which includes people affected personally by bleeding disorders and representatives of governments, health sector and industry who may also contribute their skills, knowledge and time to achieve common goals.

HFQ has been selected as one of three community groups featured in Grillโ€™d Eatons Hill Village's Local Matters program throughout July 2026!

Simply order a burger, receive a token, and place it in the HFQ jar to help us secure a share of $500 for our community.

The HFQ team is heading to Hervey Bay for our next Outreach Clinic on Thursday 11th June 2026.

We'll be there to connect with patients and families, provide support, and share information about the services, resources, and opportunities available through HFQ. These visits are a great chance to have a chat, ask questions, and learn more about how we can support you and your family on your bleeding disorders journey.

Of course, we'll also be bringing along a delicious morning tea to enjoy while we catch up! ๐Ÿฐโ˜•

HFQ is committed to supporting the bleeding disorders community right across Queensland, helping people stay connected no matter where they live.

Due to unprecedented demand, Community Camp for 2026 has officially sold out within 3 days of registrations going live!!

We are busily negotiating with the venue to secure additional villas.

If you missed out and would like to be included on our wait list for any extra villas or cancellations, please email the office on [email protected] with your name, email address and number of attendees and ages and preferred villa type (2 or 3 bedroom).

We cannot guarantee we will be able to secure any additional spots, but we are doing our best to get as many of our members to camp as possible.

Wait list will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so please ensure you get on the wait list asap if you are hoping to come along.

Weโ€™re heading back to BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park!
16th to 18th October for another unforgettable weekend together.

This year weโ€™re swapping March for October, so fingers crossed for beautiful spring weather perfect for all our outdoor adventures and activities.

Weโ€™re busy planning another fun filled weekend the whole family will enjoy, with plenty of HFQ activities to connect, learn and laugh together, plus time for you to relax and make the most of the parkโ€™s fantastic amenities.

The cost of the weekend is subsidised by HFQ and includes 2 nights accommodation, Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and dinner, all activities and access to all park facilities.

Camp is only open to current HFQ financial members.
