One Nation is committed to Australian sovereignty, the Constitution and Government of the People by the People for the People. Based on this view, we have developed objectives and policies reflecting the will of the people. Our role as a political party is to select and recommend to the people, candidates that we feel reflect our objectives and policies and are worthy of representing them and their will as dedicated parliamentary representatives.

We have hit 500,000 followers on Facebook. Thank you for all your support. We could not do what we do without you. Over the past year, we have experienced dramatic growth on social media at a time when the other parties have been stagnant.

We know this growth reflects the genuine desire for change amongst everyday Australians on the ground. As much as our opponents try to suggest there is something untoward about our growth online and that it’s linked to “foreign bots”, we know the truth, and we won’t allow everyday Australians to be gaslit any longer.

Polls and election results over the past year are providing more and more evidence that the growth we’ve experienced online is real.

Is it any wonder that Albo is now using the Digital Duty of Care Bill to try to curb our ability to connect with Australians online?

Pauline’s take on yesterday’s tragic incident. The reality is that Pauline herself has been on the receiving end of a number of vile threats over the past few months and has had to take extra steps to boost her own security. The Prime Minister has talked about “turning down the temperature”; it’s a bit rich coming from him, bearing in mind that apparently his own office put together a dirt sheet on Helen Haines.

At this stage, it is too early to come to sweeping conclusions about what took place yesterday. But it is fair to say that so much of the hatred that has infected our politics over recent years comes from the left.

Well said, Barnaby. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Helen Haines today. It is crucial for the functioning of our shared democracy that our elected representatives are able to go about their business free from threats of physical violence and, in this case, literal physical violence. It is chilling, and yesterday’s events have understandably shaken many in politics and our democratic process.

We have seen these sorts of attacks on elected representatives happen in other countries. We must not allow them to take hold here in Australia.

Under Albo, we’re hurtling towards the same destination.
