📝 Carer Recognition Act Consultation 📝
Your caring role deserves to be recognised.
Every day, unpaid carers across Queensland quietly give so much of themselves, their time, energy, compassion and love, often without recognition.
Now, you have the opportunity to help change that.
The Queensland Government is reviewing the Carers (Recognition) Act 2008, and unpaid carers across the state are being invited to share their voices and experiences.
The Act was introduced to recognise the significant contribution carers make to families, communities and the broader Queensland community.
To support the government’s consultation process, [tag] Carers Queensland is inviting unpaid carers across Queensland to share their experiences, ideas and priorities to influence how they are recognised, valued and supported into the future.
Community Consultation Sessions will be held in Rockhampton (15 June), Brisbane (16 June), Murgon (17 June) and Townsville (19 June). Spaces are limited, so for further information, visit ➡️ https://carersqld.com.au/carer-recognition
