THANK YOU FROM OUR HEARTS
CHILDREN’S MOON FESTIVAL 2026

What a beautiful evening we shared together at our Children’s Moon Festival on 19 September 2026.

On behalf of the Vietnamese Community in Australia – Queensland Chapter and our Organising Team, I would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to every person who came, participated, supported and helped make this celebration possible.

Our sincere thanks to our distinguished guests and VIPs, Members of Parliament, government and council representatives, religious and spiritual leaders, community leaders, multicultural representatives, community organisations and associations, schools, teachers, parents and families who joined us.

Thank you to our wonderful sponsors, supporters and donors whose generosity helped us bring this celebration to our community.

Our appreciation also goes to the Queensland Police Service, Queensland Ambulance Service, Queensland Fire Department and all emergency and safety personnel who helped keep our community safe throughout the evening.

To our performers, dancers, musicians, Lion Dance team, MCs, photographers, stage and technical teams, stall holders, food vendors, information stalls, activity providers and everyone working behind the scenes — thank you for bringing so much colour, energy and happiness to the festival.

And to our incredible volunteers and Organising Team — from planning, decorating and setting up, to parking, traffic, security, cleaning, serving, carrying, coordinating and packing everything away at the end of a very long day — thank you. Your contribution may not always be seen, but it is deeply appreciated. ❤️

Most importantly, thank you to all our beautiful children.

This festival was for you.

Seeing you perform, carry your lanterns, enjoy the Lion Dance, play, laugh and celebrate our Vietnamese culture and traditions with your families reminded us why occasions like this are so important. You are the next generation, and we hope these happy memories will stay with you for many years to come.

And finally, to every family and every member of our wider community who attended — thank you for coming together in friendship and unity. A community celebration is only meaningful when there is a community there to share it.

We sincerely hope everyone enjoyed the evening and returned home safely.

May you and your families be blessed with good health, happiness, peace and many beautiful moments together.

Please stay safe and take care of one another. We look forward to seeing you again very soon — and if not before then, we hope to welcome you back for our Vietnamese New Year – Tết Festival on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 January 2027.

Until we meet again, thank you for your friendship, your support and for being part of our community. ❤️

With our warmest appreciation,

On behalf of the Organising Committee
