We've developed this handy-dandy quick reference guide for all police officers monitoring the rallies happening tomorrow to .

These will be printed and shared with officers at various locations, and you can get copies from us by emailing [email protected] or just saving and printing this!

We encourage NSW Police Force, Queensland Police Service, Western Australia Police Force, Tasmania Police, Northern Territory Police Force, Australian Federal Police, and Victoria Police to be sensitive and aware of the diverse needs of attendees at the rallies tomorrow.

We hope this resource is informative and helpful and leads to better interactions between our community and officers there on the day.

hEDS is so much more than being “flexible.” It’s chronic pain, constant fatigue, injuries from simple movements, stomach issues, dizziness, bruises that appear out of nowhere, and joints that never feel stable. Some days I need braces, mobility aids, or extra rest just to get through basic tasks. The hardest part is that most people can’t see any of it. Living with hEDS means learning how to survive in a body that doesn’t always support you the way it should. 🦓💜

Did you know the NDIA spends MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of dollars every year, fighting disabled people?

In 2024-2025, it was a whopping $60 million!

And people who are appealing cuts to their plans are doing so because they need them to live. These cuts cause disabled people and their families to suffer.

And sometimes, it's these cuts that kill disabled people.

We've seen it in devastating stories in our community recently, including teenagers and kids.

It breaks my heart.

And for the stories we do hear about, there are so many more we don't.

Funny how facts like this are never mentioned when hateful journalists and politicians talk about the NDIS.

Participants and families have such valuable lived experience that could change the system for better, without harming disabled people.

If only they'd listen, instead of demonising us and casting us as the problem.

Hi folks🌱

I have have capacity for a couple of new therapy or professional supervision clients.

I specialise in working with Autistic and otherwise neurodivergent kids, young folks, families and adults with alot of experience in PDA stuff. I see NDIS plan and self managed and private paying clients.

As a supervisor I work with any professional -and focus mostly on strengthening neuro affirming frameworks and ethically incorporating lived experience into practice.

I work mostly via Zoom and phone but do see some children for child directed play based therapy from my workspace at home in inner south west Brisbane.

(I do also do solid FCA reports for people with primary diagnoses of Autism so am to happy to do that as well - I usually take on one a month or so, if that's what you need.)
