Today marks the start of Children's Week, a national celebration of children and their rights, and we've got something fun planned for the whole family!

This year's theme is: "Children have the right to use their own language, celebrate their culture and practise their religion." 🌏

To celebrate, we'll be hosting free, relaxed Stay & Play sessions during our opening hours this week. No booking needed, just drop in. We'll have activity tables set up for the kids to explore and celebrate the cultures and languages of our community through play.

When to find us:

• Saturday 24 October, 9:30am – 12:30pm
• Wednesday 28 October, 7:00pm – 9:00pm (open as usual, but no Stay & Play at this session)
• Thursday 29 October, 11:30am – 2:30pm
• Friday 30 October, 9:30am – 12:30pm
• Saturday 31 October, 9:30am – 12:30pm

Come on down and say hello, hola, bonjour or ni hao.

We'd love to see you there!

Did you know that the average family spends thousands of dollars per year on toys, despite research showing that 51% of all new toys end up in landfill after just 12-months!

You can easily save $3,000 to $5,000 PER YEAR simply by borrowing, swapping, and returning toys instead of buying them new!

Here is the secret:

🧸 Infinite Variety: Access hundreds of premium toys without the premium price tag.

🛑 Zero Clutter: When your kids get bored, you just bring them back.

💰 Massive Savings: Swap a $150 playset for a $250 ride-on car or a $220 toy kitchen with an annual membership at a fraction of the cost.

Here is exactly how the Bayside Toy Library works:

🔘 Choose your Annual Membership tier: We have a range of membership options to fit your family and budget.

🔘 Choose your vibe: Decide if you want to volunteer or not?

🔘 Borrow & Swap: Pick your toys, take them home, and swap them when the kids get bored.

Hit the link in our bio to see how it works and start saving today, or simply come on down and see us for yourself! 👋

Celebrating National Volunteer Week! 🌟

Ever wonder how thousands of toys stay clean, complete, and ready for action? Meet the ultimate Toy Library Legends - our unofficial "chaos-wranglers".

Our incredible volunteers don't just stand behind a desk. They are busy counting every single puzzle piece, scrubbing playsets, swapping out dead batteries, cataloging shiny new arrivals, and managing the absolute whirlwind of returns.

They do it all for one reason: so that when your family walks out the door with a fresh bag of fun, you are guaranteed the absolute best experience possible.

Thank you so much to all our volunteers who ensure that when a toy lands in your home, it's pure magic. We love you! 🙌🧸✨
