🎉 IT'S ALMOST TIME - THE BRIGHT OUTDOOR GYM OPENS THIS TUESDAY!

Join us this Tuesday 5 May at 10am behind the Bright Community Centre to celebrate the opening of our brand new Outdoor Gym, free for everyone to use, every day.

This project has been more than two years in the making and watching it come to life has been one of our proudest moments as a club. The Rotary Club of Bright partnered with Alpine Shire Council to invest $90,000 in this facility because we believe staying active shouldn't come with a price tag.

The reality is that physiotherapy and gym memberships are out of reach for many in our community. Our kids need places to move and play. Our older residents need low-impact exercise options that keep them healthy and independent. And everyone, no matter their age or budget, deserves access to equipment that supports their wellbeing.

This gym is our answer to that.

Tell me it's cold without telling me it's cold….🤣🥶

When Carl and Paul are pulling on wetsuits to remove the foot valve, you know summer is officially over!

The pack-up is complete and the waterslide has been put to bed for another year. It's been a fantastic season and we can't wait to do it all again come Boxing Day.

A huge thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who gave their time throughout the summer to keep the slide running. You're the reason this place keeps bringing joy, year after year.

💦WATERSLIDE UPDATE - FEBRUARY WEEKENDS💦

Unfortunately, the rivers condition means we won't be running the waterslide over February weekends, so that wraps up our summer season.

A HUGE THANK YOU 🙏🏻to all our wonderful volunteers who've given their time, energy and enthusiasm to make the slide happen this year. You're the heart of what makes this work and we're so grateful for every single one of you.

And to everyone who came out to play on the slide, thank you for being part of this tradition & major fundraiser. We can't wait to see you back next summer.

💦SADLY, NO SPLASH THIS WEEKEND😢

If you've heard a whisper that the waterslide might be open this weekend, sadly, we've got some disappointing news.

We've just had word that E.coli is back in river which means we can't run the slide this weekend. We know that's frustrating, especially with the hot weather we're having!

The health and safety of everyone who uses the slide is always our number one priority, so we're not taking any chances.

We're keeping a close eye on the river health and will keep you updated about other weekends in February as soon as we know more.

Thanks for your understanding and fingers crossed the river clears up soon so we can get back to making a splash!
