To our amazing and dedicated volunteers who care for our National Trust of South Australia nature reserves across South Australia β€” thank you! πŸ™ŒπŸ’š

Your tireless work, passion, and commitment to nature conservation make an extraordinary difference. Because of you, our precious nature reserves are healthier, safer, and more vibrant places for wildlife and for the community. Without your support, these beautiful reserves would be overrun by w**ds, vital habitats would be at risk, and countless trails would be inaccessible.

Every hour you give, every w**d you pull, every track you restore, and every moment you spend protecting our environment ensures that these beautiful places can be enjoyed for generations to come πŸ₯°

During 'National Volunteer Week 2026 – Your Year to Volunteer' we want to acknowledge and celebrate the incredible achievements of each and every one of you. You are the heart of our conservation work, and we are deeply grateful.

Thank you for your dedication, your energy, and your love for nature. Our reserves are thriving because of you! πŸ’šπŸŒ³πŸŒ±πŸ¦˜

The weather is looking fabulous, albeit a little chilly – a great opportunity to warm up and help this special bushland at the same time!

Also a fantastic time to spot some interesting fungi πŸ„πŸ‘€

Hi everyone,

Time for our monthly working bee 😊

On Sunday our working bee will focus on w**ding around the base of the new track from Oak Avenue along the small creek line continuing to push back the w**d front and we will also be planting some local native species to infill that area if there are enough of us. We’ve been doing such a great job with the w**d fronts and combined with the work from contractors along Cox Creek it’s making a huge difference and there are so many young natives springing up through the dead w**ds!

Come along if you can this Sunday 1st June 10am - 1pm. Would be great to see you!

Meet at Wattle Street entrance, then we'll walk through the reserve to the creek around by Oak Street. All tools and gloves provided, BYO water and snacks.

There's something to do for all ages and abilities 😁🌱

Today is International Day for Biological Diversity πŸŒ±πŸŒ³πŸ¦‚πŸ¦‹πŸ¦ŽπŸ¦˜πŸ¦‡πŸͺ±

Biodiversity is what keeps our world thrivingβ€”yet many species are facing increasing habitat loss and decline.

The National Trust of South Australia is custodian to 24 spectacular nature reserves right across the state, in a variety of ecological communities, supporting a huge array of biodiversity!

Thanks to all our volunteers who celebrate biodiversity today, and everyday! Thanks so much for protecting and conserving vital habitat for thousands of native species keeping ecosystems healthy and resilient πŸ’š

You can take action by supporting conservation efforts in South Australia. No matter your abilities, there are many opportunities for all 😊🌱
