Real life training.

Firefighters from Station 236 Braidwood undertook fire attack and search & rescue training in a partly renovated dwelling under heavy smoke conditions during a special drill this week.

Thanks as always to senior instructor Paul for organising and to firefighter Mason for the use of his building.

More training equals more skills to better keep our community safer.

Expect live demonstrations, a close-up look at the trucks and gear, and the chance to meet your local crew.

We really want to see you all, so pop this in your calendar today.

Fire and Rescue NSW Open Day at Station 236 Braidwood.

Where: 13 Park Lane (next to QPRC library)
Date: Saturday 9 May 2026
Time: 10am - 2pm

We’d love to see all Braidwoodians, young and not so young.

Lots of gear on display, things to do, fire trucks to explore, hoses to spray and good looking firefighters to talk to. 😁
