There is still time to book in to hear Isabel Baker speak in Bordertown.....
You're invited to hear from Isabel Baker, registered nurse and author of A-Z of Dementia Care!
Drawing from real-life examples and expertise, this author talk will help carers understand the different types of dementia, communicate successfully, provide activities of interest, recognise and manage concerning behaviour and reduce stress. There will be time to chat and ask questions. This session is for anyone caring for people living with dementia (family carers and professionals).

Isabel Baker is an RN who has worked closely with people living with dementia and their families for the past 35 years. She has taught aged care staff both in facilities and at TAFE college about dementia care. Isabel's passion is to see people living with dementia receive compassionate, insightful understanding care where their deficits are recognised, and physical and emotional needs met. Providing a safe, comfortable social and physical environment so they and their carers, both family and professional, can enjoy their time together.
