Gundagai Meats Tour

Yesterday a very lucky 12 people had the opportunity to spend the day in Gundagai for a workshop focused on lamb.
We spent the morning listening to experts Sally Martin from SheepmetriX and Jock Munroe from Coolac Vet Services where we covered the value of EID, genetics, markets, animal health and feedback data available from GMP.
We then headed over the Gundagai Meat Processors for a fully guided information session and complete tour of their facilities and state of the art technology. It gave us producers much to talk about with the growing opportunities, especially now IMF is measurable in lamb and new markets are arising.

Wednesday 22nd April

We are spending a day on Lamb. We are travelling to Gundagai for the day, where we will here from Jock Munro - Coolac Vet Services and Sally Martin - SheepmetriX. Following this we are then heading to Gundagai Meats for a fully guided tour of their facilities.
This promises to be an interesting and informative day for anyone interested in Lamb production.
